total randomness

In response to my previous rant (I'm all ranty lately. I should get that checked out.), HeyGabe said this:
"I want to be like you. In a Puzzle Pirates sense, anyway."

But... why? I'm not famous, I'm not a big-name navver or blockader, I'm not rich, I can't even provide expert distill labor. All I've really got going for me is that I'm part of Fandango, I'm PR for Imperio, and I used to do PR for Hurricane.

I just ... I don't know what other people see in me, and why. At all. In-game or IRL.  When they find out I do DJing, people are all like "Wow! You're so great and wonderful. Your listeners must love you!" And they do, don't get me wrong - most of my hearties are people I met through Shanty. I don't see why they're so anxious to have me as a friend, or to not get on my bad side (which is rather hard to do, but if'n you do... watch out), and so forth and so on.

What gives?

In total other news, I think I managed to pinch a nerve in my leg, and that's why it's bothering me.  Also, cold fronts make both my left hip and my right leg cranky.

so as if I'm not already having self-whatever issues, today I find out that a good friend is interviewing for the Boettcher, for crying out loud. (for those outside of CO, it's the biggest scholarship here. Literally. Full ride, anywhere in the state you want to go.)

I feel so insignificantly worthless.

edit: and if I didn't have enough problems... when I casually mentioned this at dinner, because my family know her as well, they acted more impressed and stuff then they've ever done for anything I've accomplished. yeah, make me feel like a loser. thanks.
