graaaaaaaaaduation junk
Apr. 7th, 2006 11:42 amGraaaaaaaaduation is coming. Very quickly, and I don't have my act together. I just got announcements Wednesday, haven't sent them out yet, I'm picking up the gown today, as well as turning in the forms. I also get to look into honors cords/keys/whatever the hey I'm allowed to wear.
Also, doesn't it sound just wrong to say "I'm graduating in the Denver Merchandise Mart!"? I mean... yeah, it may be large enough, but it still sounds funny, right? Or am I just being silly again...
I still haven't gotten my definitive "OMG you can't graduate" or "Woooo! You go graduate in May, woman!" letter yet, and I'm a bit nervous. The ceremony is in a little over a month and I don't even know for sure if I can do it. At least I have the day off work.
Oh, if you want a shiny invitation, I might have a few extra I can send out, I'm not sure yet. Just toss me an IM or email and I'll see what I can do.
In somewhat related news, my final voice performance is Monday, May 1st at 7pm. Oy, first evening one, and it's gonna have a ton of people, because it's the voice II, plus piano & guitar students as well. You're all invited, yell at me if you want directions. I'm singing "Breakaway," because I couldn't find accompaniment to the one I really really wanted to do. Ah well.
